What will you be learning in this internship?

Day 1: Introduction to Business Consultation (AM) and Client Services (PM)

In the morning, interns will be introduced to the different departments within a business consulting firm, exploring their roles in shaping organisational success. In the afternoon, interns will explore the fundamentals of client interaction, including effective communication, understanding client needs, and fostering professional relationships.

Day 2: Business Legal Services (AM) and Human Resources (PM)

In the morning, interns will explore the role of business legal services in ensuring compliance with laws, protecting corporate interests, and preventing legal risks. In the afternoon, interns will learn about human resources (HR) and its importance in recruitment, onboarding, and maintaining workplace productivity.

Day 3: Public Relations (AM) and Quality Management (PM)

In the morning, interns will study the importance of public relations (PR) in shaping a company's reputation, handling media communication, and managing crises. In the afternoon, interns will delve into quality management, understanding how businesses maintain high standards through process optimisation, performance metrics, and continuous improvement.

Day 4: Finance Management (AM) and Business Intelligence (PM)

In the morning, interns will learn about finance management and its role in budgeting, financial forecasting, accounting, and risk management. In the afternoon, interns will study business intelligence, focusing on how companies leverage data analytics to drive strategic growth.

Day 5: Reflection (AM) and Final Assessment (PM)

In the morning, interns will reflect on their experiences throughout the internship. They will choose one department that resonates with them, conduct further research, and write a 300-word reflection explaining why this department is important in business consultation. In the afternoon, interns will complete a final assessment quiz with 25 multiple-choice questions covering all the topics studied during the internship. A pass mark of 80% is required, and interns will have the opportunity to retake the quiz if necessary.

Certification

This internship meets international standards to reflect the diverse landscape of business consultation as a global discipline. Upon successful completion, interns will receive a certificate of participation as proof of their internship.
