This module begins with a brief history of political science and the importance of political scientists. The meaning and role of political scientists in everyday life are considered, as are some useful terminologies used in the profession.

Module 2- Who is a political scientist?

You will learn what it means to become a political scientist and what they do in our modern society. As specialists, political scientists work with different aspects of political systems in particular work environments, which they should understand to be successful.

Module 3- Different political science-related careers

Students learn about some of the different specialisations of political scientists available to them with references to real-life individuals and examples of how each specialisation can be useful.

Module 4- Skills required to be an political scientists

This module identifies some relevant high school subjects for studying political science. In addition, some useful skills are also covered for high school students to develop.

 

Final Assessment

Once all the online course modules are completed, you will be able to take the graded final course assessment. The assessment consists of 20 multiple-choice questions covering all the content studied in all the modules. The pass mark is 70%. The answers are marked instantly, so you will know whether you have passed as soon as you finish. You can revisit the course material and retake the assessment as many times as necessary at no additional cost if you don't pass it.
